FA/CMA 2405 3.00   Television Studies

Course Description:

Provides an overview of how television has been practiced and studied. The course material includes historical and critical analysis of its production, distribution, and audiences. From its origins in radio to its future in digital convergence, the course will consider television's role in both reflecting and constituting global society. Pre-requisite: FA/CMA 1400 or 1401 or permission of the department. Course credit exclusion: FA/CMA 1405 3.0.
