AP/ANTH 3120 6.00   The Anthropology of Tourism


Course Description:

This course explores the sites/sights of tourist practice. Beginning with an historical analysis of tourism in relationship to European colonial expansion, we then consider the cultural significance of contemporary tourism both at home and abroad. Course credit exclusions: AP/ANTH 3010B 6.00. PRIOR TO FALL 2009: Course credit exclusions: AS/ANTH 3010B 6.00 and AS/ANTH 3120 6.00.
